Undergraduate research
I am interested in mentoring undergraduate students on computational and theoretical math research projects! If you are an undergraduate student with a strong interest in geometry and computer visualization, please feel free to reach out so we can discuss possible projects.
Prerequisites: at a bare minimum, I will require research students to be very comfortable with linear algebra, and to have taken at least one proof-based mathematics course. A course in abstract algebra is recommended.

Mentorship
Michigan REU: I have been a faculty advisor for an REU project at the University of Michigan math REU. I worked with Abhi Shukul on a project related to hyperbolic groups and finite-state automata.
Lab of Geometry at Michigan: I have been a faculty advisor for Log(M) projects in Winter 2023 and Winter 2025. Both projects were related to visualizing actions of Coxeter groups, in either projective space or hyperbolic space.
Texas Experimental Geometry Lab: I’ve worked as a graduate student mentor for four semesters at the Texas Experimental Geometry Lab (TXGL).
Directed reading program: I have been a mentor in the UT math department’s Directed Reading Program for seven students from 2017 - 2021.
Minicourses
Summer 2020: I led a minicourse for graduate students called “Boundaries of Groups and Spaces.”
